CATI 2014 Conference in Spartanburg: impressions and materials

I've greatly enjoyed my second CATI conference, now in Spartanburg, SC, and the sessions I have attended. It has been great to meet other translators and interpreters, and see again other professionals from the Triangle area that I've met previously at CATI meetups. I've greatly enjoyed the sessions I've attended, especially the keynote speech by Lisa Carter, where narrative was beautifully blended with the visuals, and Mary Chen's presentation on translation of business documents, where she talked about the importance of cultural awareness in business translation, nicely complementing the webinars by Percy Balemans, and Katya Filatova and Joseph Kovalov I've seen before.

I've also been a presenter at CATI 2014 this year and talked about formulating and using a value proposition and a unique selling proposition. For those who have attended – thank you for coming and positive feedback!
